Description:
This is a exceptionaly ornate DAMASCUS 16 gage, double barrel shot gun, this Henri Pieper ELG CROWN, trade marked has it all. The Damacus barrel is 30 inches long, and has ornate gold string inlay designs on top ,in great shape. The lock , the lock plate ,and even on the forearm are heavly chasedwithQuail sceanes and flowers on both sides , even the locks and screw heads are chased . the forearm is cross hatched in checker pattern ,as is the pistol grip , with horn at the endmedallion, Both the original sling strap attachments are present and in good working order. There is an empty box unsigned on top of the barrel, so this allows the new owner to present this is they wish to put in a name. All the areas on the parts of the gun have the number 3966 . the walnut stock has a cheek rest. The trigger pulls all work well , you can fire one or two of the barrels with the double trigger pull. There is a tiny repair if you look very close to the walnut stock, the repar was ecellent so hard to even see.The horn butt plate has a couple of tiny nips ,but effect nothing in my opinion, hard to notice.Over all a beautiful gun in above great shape.
