Description:
Winchester Statue Of Liberty Commemorative Rifle, Model 94 30-30 WIN. Top of barrel is engraved, " Liberty Enlighting The World" inlaid with gold. Also engraved and gold inlaid is, "One of One Hundred" behind the rear sight. The left side of the barrel is engraved, "WINCHESTER MODEL 94 30-30 WIN" with gold inlay. The left side of the receiver depicts the Statue of Liberty in 24 karat gold in a hand engraved oval with "1886-1996 Centennial" inlaid in gold within banners at the bottom. Also in 24 karat gold are the American flag, two oak leaves, two border frames and four scrolls. The bottom is marked SL008 in gold. The right side of the receiver features the bust of the Statue of Liberty in an oval, three oak leaves, three border frames, six scrolls and the hand holding the torch all in 24 karat gold. The lever has floral design engraving. The tang is floral scroll engraved and has a gold inlaid star. The barrel muzzle has two gold inlay bands. The forend cap, magazine plug and the screws are engraved with floral designs. The rifle is fitted with high grade finely checkered walnut forearm and buttstock with a floral engraved coin finished buttplate. Complete with the factory box numbered to the rifle and a wood carved Statue of Liberty measuring twenty-five inches tall. The base of statue has a silver plaque engraved "1886-1986 Centennial 08/100 Bottega C. Giovanelli" This rifle is in perfect condition and has no handling marks whatsoever. It and the statue are in 100% condition. Included are letters of authenticity from U.S. Repeating Arms and Cesare Giovanelli and a copy of WINCHESTER COMMEMORATIVES Volume II by Tom Trolard which features the Statue of Liberty Commorative Model 94 on the cover.
