Description:
Beautiful Colt Custom Shop single action army 3rd generation 44-40, SA97XXX manufactured 1992. Features 4 ¾” blue bbl., with full color casehardened frame, hammer, trigger guard & backstrap. Fitted with one piece authentic ivory grips original to the revolver. Condition is excellent with barrel & ejector housing retaining 99% original finish with only slight handling marks & a small area of oxidation. The frame, hammer, trigger guard & backstrap show vibrant case colors & grips are excellent. Includes Colt Factory letter confirming configuration stating this revolver was one of two Custom Shop Colts for order #4417-A. This Colt was shipped on November 12, 1992 to Bangers Distribution Division in Birmingham, Alabama. Complete with glass top walnut presentation case with red velvet lining & key, a long with Colt factory blue box with white shipping sleeve with matching label numbered to the revolver & papers.
