Dakota Arms Model 76 .375 H&H
This Dakota Arms Safari Grade rifle chambered in 375 H&H bearing serial # 0813 has a 26 inch barrel, ¼ rib and Talley type scope bases which allow for quick detach and retention of zero. Special Select Grade walnut stock with fantastic figure and nicely scalloped cheek piece. Length of pull is 13 5/8 inches. Stock is capped off with a nice ebony fore end piece and blued steel pistol grip cap. The bolt has the Mauser style full length extractor. Bore is perfect, exterior finish is 98% mate blue. Fantastic wood to metal fit through out. The cut checkering is perfect not one flattened diamond to be found. The stock has only the minutest impressions from carry in the field. There is a slightly deeper impression just forward of the butt pad on the right side. This gun has been to Africa and accounted for several of the beasts found there to include a very large crocodile. When this gun was in the field it was lovingly cared for and always had a light coating of Renaissance wax applied to it to prevent any rust or damage to the wood or metal. Illness and age forces sale of this beloved rifle.
