Small, probably made for a child or small woman, early 1800's vintage Flintlock Rifle There are no markings/stamps on the gun to indicate who had made it, nor is there any on the lock. The gun is 43 inches in length and has a 13 1/4 inch length of pull from the single trigger. It has an attractive brass patch-box, crescent butt-plate, trigger guard, and assorted brass ornamentation. The sights appear to be original and are sound. There are many repairs and cracks in the stock and the action does not work. Neat wall hanger, would work well on a small wall or fireplace.
