Description:
This Husqvarna .30-06 rifle has a 20 1/2" barrel with a near excellent bore that has strong rifling but has some very light oxidation near the breech and some freckling toward the muzzle. The metal surfaces retain about 90% original blue that is evenly graying and has a few small specks of brown and sparse oxidation mingling about. The bottom metal and nose cap have some light silvering along the edges. Full term mannlicher style checkered walnut stock rates near excellent with small dings and other light scratches and handling marks. The original front sight is intact, the rear sight has been replaced with a Williams slot blank. Mounted to the receiver is a Weaver K2.5 riflescope that features a crosshair reticle and has bright optics. An overall excellent vintage rifle, first-year production for this series, that would make a fine hunting gun.
