UNUSUAL AND PROBABLY CUSTOM ORDERED POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL 4" BARREL IN SCARCE .32 W.C.F. (.32-20) CALIBER, WITH FINE CHECKERED TRIGGER, MADE 1919, this model had a smooth trigger during this time of production and a checkered trigger would certainly have been offered as a custom option by Colt, excellent deep blue overall with only some minor scattered freckling and back strap dulling to plum/brown, front strap also has some dulling but only near the bottom part by the butt, exc. mech., exc. inside with bright bore, nice fire blue on the hammer back and trigger, has a couple of small chips at the back corner of each grip panel- should be easy to replace or repair, exc. markings with the last patent date of 1905 on the barrel top, these are getting hard to find in this caliber.
