We are offering this UNFIRED and in the factory plastic case, Thompson 1927-A1 in .45 ACP. This “Tommy Gun” bears serial # KH6613 and is from the collection a self-admitted gun hoarder. This Worchester Massachusetts manufactured “Tommy gun” features a 16.5-inch barrel, a Cutts style muzzle brake, the scarce and highly desirable removable walnut butt stock and vertical fore grip.
The front sight is a blade type sight with the rear sight being open but with a flip up peep sight for extended range. In the spirit of the roaring 20’s the gun is supplied with a 100 round drum magazine and a 30 round stick magazine. The Tommy is 40" in overall length with but stock affixed, 30 ½ inches with butt stock removed. The gun weighs 13 pounds and would be very easy to control in rapid fire. The magazines have never been installed in this piece, I can find no signs of wear. The bolt handle is the knurled see through type. All milled steel receiver no cast parts. There are couple very minute freckles on the blue that can be removed with minimal effort.
