Description:
A very nice magnum Pre 64 Alaskan. 98+ % original bluing. 25” barrel with a clean, shiny bore. Matching serial numbers on receiver and bolt, tapered receiver tang. Original Lyman folding rear sight, front silver bead sight and sight hood. Lightweight bolt knob. Original steel bottom metal and floorplate that are showing some bluing wear. The Monte Carlo comb stock retains 95% of it’s original finish and has some light handling dings and scratches. Wide checkering. Original sling swivels and recoil pad. A nice condition period correct leather sling is included. The stock appears to have been pinned in the wrist for no apparent reason. I cannot see any cracks that would warrant this.
