Magnum that was made in 1964. Built on the Sako action with a heavy barrel. The stock was carved and initialed by the well known Browning Master Engraver Richard Kowalski. The owner of the rifle sent photographs of the carving to Browning Historian Lenny Rees. Lenny confirmed the rifle was sent back to Browning after its original purchase and was commisioned for Kowalski to carve the stock with Ground Squirrels or Marmots. Lenny also noted and confirmed that the initials belong to Richard Kowalski. Notice the high relief of the carving and great detail, The mother and five pups, details of the hair, claws, eyes and ears is simply stunning. Signed by Kowalski in the lower right of the panel. The rifle remains in 95%+ original factory condition with a mint shiny bore.
