Description:
Parker DHE 20 Gauge Side-by-Side
FACTORY 2 BARREL SET, RARE 32", 30", ENGLISH STOCK

General Specs: Parker, Year 1919, 20 Gauge, 32"= 6lbs 5oz  30"=6lbs 7oz, SxS
Serial Number: 180853

Parker produced just over 1500 DH Grade 20 gauge guns during their production run, so the guns are not "rare", but they are not common either.  This gun, sn180853 made in 1919, IS RARE, AS IT IS 1 OF 168 SHIPPED WITH 32” TITANIC STEEL BARRELS, 1 OF 150 WITH A FACTORY ENGLISH GRIPPED STOCK, A VERY RARE COMBINATION.  Even better, the gun went back to Parker under Remington ownership in 1939 and had a set of 30” barrels fitted to the gun, complete with its own forend assembly.  The gun is shown in the Parker Serialization and Identification book as being shipped just the way you see it, with English grip, ejectors, and 32” barrels.  What we have here is the perfect 2 barrels set, the 32” barrels choked M/F, the 30” barrels choked IC/M, cased in a fine Italian leather case custom fit perfectly to the gun, complete with accessories and maker’s trade label.  Parker guns have always been the most sought after, well known of the American makers and with their extraordinary wood to metal fit, checkering, and engraving, there is good reason.  This delightful gun weighs just 6lbs. 5oz. and balances beautifully in hand with modern stock dimensions.  It has been restored to historic Parker perfection, with vibrant bone and charcoal case colors, deep rich blue, gorgeous wood, and a genuine Silvers pad perfectly fit to the stock.  The Parkers have become strong investments, especially small bores with rare and desirable features, so you can own this gun and literally improve the value of your estate.  The gun is worth more than the cash in your savings account, now and in the future!  Today’s shooters cherish the long barrels, English style stocks, and well done restorations.  This is the perfect Parker for virtually all your upland hunting and sporting clays needs and it is in perfect mechanical condition inside and out.  It is likely you will never again see a factory 2 barrel set of this combination offered for sale at any price, so don’t let this opportunity escape you.  Thanks for looking!
