Description:
This listing is a beautiful example of a Winchester 03 takedown. The serial number reflects it was manufactured in 1935. This is the standard model which is the straight (no pistol grip) stock and without checkering. The metal finish is original with most of the bluing gone but has a very nice patina without any pitting. Barrel is bright with sharp rifling and no pitting. The stock has an early year refinish (20+ years ago). This gun is mechanically sound as I have went completely through it and have recently fired it. And regardless to what some say, the ammo for these guns is not obsolete so you can still enjoy shooting them. Buyer pays $45 shipping and insurance.
