Description:
Nice, undrilled receiver Pre War Winchester Model 70 30-06 standard rifle. 24" Barrel. S/N 45xxx with matching bolt, Mfg. 1942. 96% Blue, with tip of outer muzzle touched up due to some former light pits. Crown was completely unaffected. 90% Varnish on the nice dark piece of black walnut with light scratches and dings, and an area of water staining near heel of butt plate. Mechanics are excellent. Bore is good with some slight roughness in grooves.
Overall, a good solid Pre War in basically unaltered condition at an affordable price.
