Description:
Danish Rolling Block Model 1870 rifle. This gun has been sporterized (probably in Europe) very nicely with a two leaf rear sight and a nice ramp front sight. It has barrel mounted foreward sling swivel. All numbers match. It has an excellent bore. I believe this gun was made in Scandinavia under contract to Remington. It has a 33" barrel and is chambered for the 8X58R Krag cartridge, which is one of the most powerful military cartridges. C&R Firearm.
