#4948. Walther 1936 Olympia “funfkampf” 22Lr.
Pentathlon pistol with the 9 3/8” barrel in 22 long. Matching numbers with the original weights. Adjustable rear sight and the front bead with ivory insert.
Excellent bore , light traces of oxidation in the chamber. 80% condition original bluing with ware on the edges and oxidation on the slide left side over the serration. The lower weight bluing is faded . The front edge of the two back weight have been painted black. Grips have marks and are in 80% condition , checkering in 90%.
The Olympia pistol won 5 gold medals at the Olympic game of Berlin in 1936 , ending the supremacy of the Colt Woodman Target.
