This early 3rd Gen SAA was manufactured in 1979. Production of the 3rd Gens began in 1976 so
this is an early model with the desirable features of caliber, 45LC, and barrel length,4 3/4.
The gun appears unfired and is in mint condition with the only distraction being a small discoloration
near the rear pin on the right side of the frame. This appears to have happened
during the case hardening process as it is part of the finish rather than
on the finish and the surface is consistently smooth with the rest of the frame.
Regardless of this minor distraction, this is a stunning revolver. These early 3rd Gens are
finished similar to the 2nd Gens with vibrant case colors and more of a satin blue finish.
