Offered here is a British style Fowler, fashioned to resemble one made in colonial America.
Lock: Chambers Colonial, polished bright
Stock: Fully figured maple
Barrel: 44 inch Oct to round Colrain, with 0.62 bore, 20 Gage polished bright
Ram Rod: hickory, 3/8 tapered to 5/16 inch
Carving: Both upper and lower forearms, Behind the entry pipe and barrel tang, trigger guard, and lock and side panels
The fittings are brass and polished bright
Engraving: Butt plate, trigger guard, side plate, a crown thistle motif on the butt plate and trigger guard
Length of pull: 14 inches
Drop: 3 & ¾ inch at heal
Metal finish is bright With silver front sight and no rear sight
Brass thumb piece
The front trigger guard extension represents a thistle.
