This is a British style Fowler, fashioned to resemble one made in colonial America.
It is patterned after those in FLINT LOCK FOWLERS the first guns made in America by Tom Grindalade
Lock: Peter Allan, round faced English polished and lightly browned
Stock: maple with some figure in the upper forearm
Barrel: 42 inch Oct to round, with 0.62 bore, 20 Gage lightly browned
Ram Rod: hickory, 3/8 tapered to 5/16 inch
Carving: Both upper and lower forearms, Behind the entry pipe and barrel tang, trigger guard, and lock and side panels
The fittings are brass and polished then slightly aged
Length of pull: 14.25 inches
Drop: 3 & ¾ inch at heal
Silver front sight and no rear sight
