Lefever Arms Company (F) Grade 16ga with 28" fluid steel barrels choked mod/full The barrels have two serial numbers, one matching the rceiver (179xx) and one higher, which according to the Lefever book indicates the gun was sent at some time for repairs. There is some light marks in each bore,they could be polished out if you dwsire. Frame is stamped (xx) indicating it is a small frame as would be expected with a 16ga. this gun weight 6lbs 4.9 oz perfect for hunting. LOP 14 1/4" and includes the original thick hard rubber buttplate. The DAC is 1 5/8" and the DAH is 3". this gun is beautifully engraved with setter and with bird in it"s mouth on the left side plate and a pointer on the right side plate with both sideplates also having fine cut scrolls. The bottom of the receiver and the trigger guard have nice scroll work,along with the top lever. the stcok is nicely figured, it has repairs at the head which appear to be sound. The gun has been fired with no issues. There is also a repair at the rear of the top tang. The checkering is very good except for some damage on the top left side area. The forend wood is good with some minor wood chips on the edge. The metal is a nice bluish/black patina overall. Need more information please call our office 716-941-3946
