Colt Super .38 numbers matching Pre / War post war pistol. Has matching slide & base. Gun was made prior to the war and shipped after the war. Serial numbers range from 36020-37730. This is one of the hardest variations of the Super 38 model to find. Approximately 1710 were made, 500 of which were shipped out of the United States. This gun is milled for the Swartz safety, that is not found in post war models. The lanyard loop, the trigger, the hammer,grooved main spring, grooved slide stop, and proof war roll markings,are all correct for this piece, as they are pre war parts. This gun is in excellent condition, 92 - 94% A great gun for your collection. Buyer pays $38.00 shipping.
