Description:
Up for sale today is a Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 5333923 chambered in caliber .30-06. This rifle shows a mint barrel with a barrel date of "SA 8-64," a throat erosion reading of 2 and a muzzle wear reading of 0.75. This rifle was rebuilt at Letterkenny Army Depot in September of 1965 as indicated by the electropenciled markings on the leg of the receiver reading "LEAD 9-65." This rifle shows excellent original finish on both wood and metal parts. A great piece of history and an outstanding shooter as well.
