Another fine “ESTATE” find offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a U.S. Vietnam era REDFIELD Art 1 3x-9x AR TEL Vietnam SNIPER Scope with Carrying Case. This is a very scarce 1969 vintage Redfield ART I 3x-9x power sniper scope, mount, and protective carrying case for the government issued M-21 sniper rifle. The scope remains in very fine condition as far as the finish. It shows mounting marks but no damage. It has crosshairs with the vertical - horizontal half marks on both its crosshair axis. It is marked on the side of its elevation adjustment base 3X-9X, AR TEL, and serial # 0584, scope also Redfield factory markings along the edge of its eye piece, also intact and functioning flawlessly is the scopes original 7.62 MM M-118 ball cam, the scope was the 584th one that was manufactured in 1969 and was intended for use on the Army's M-21 (M-14) Sniper Rifle. This scope and mount will fit any M.14 or commercial M1A caliber .308 semiautomatic rifle, this scope tube is not dented and has never been repaired or modified. The optics are clear, clean and defect free inside and outside! The early ART scope mount is original and is numbered 7412 above the locking knob and has no alterations.
