This is a SSG 69 PIIK which stands for POLICE Sniper rife which features a cold hammered forged barrel which makes the barrel super hard and reliable, Adjustable Double set Triggers that can be adjusted to shooters preference down to hair trigger, dedicated quick release scope, with matched scope rings with serial number, includes 1-5 shot rotary magazines. This has been stored in sellers safe its whole life and part of my collection. I have shot less than 10 rounds. I have only noticed a few small scratches on the stock only.
SSG Standards are state of the art and considered a pupose built out of the box sub MOA Police/Military sniper rifle. Austrias Militare used this model for 43 years, and still considered top of class. This is a dream deal with this model which was the main sniper rifle for the Austrian Military, and a high quality scope, barrel that is good for 10,000 shots. This is a heavier barrel , no sites Manufactured Sept 95.
This was made in Austria and imported as a package from GSI which included the double set trigger which was a add on, and a Military grade scope in its day cost $1,500 (=/-) Hensoldt ZF 500 10 X 42 which has a bullet drop compensation for 308. Later bought out by Zeiss due to the high quality. Original Purchase price $3000.
