Hopkins & Allen XL No. 5 Model spur trigger revolver, .38 cal. (.38S&W), With the unusual and desirable 5” octagon barrel, nickel finish, wood grips, lanyard ring, serial #3945 under the grip. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 90% original nickel finish, mechanically perfect, crisp action, sharp markings, strong bright bore. With lanyard ring retained. The top of the frame is marked "HOPKINS & ALLEN M'F'G. CO." "PAT. MCH 28 71 MAY 27 79" "XL No. 5 .38 CAL CENTRE FIRE". The sights have been upgraded to adjustable for windage which most defiantly improved accuracy. This is a single action spur trigger. The hammer case color and the grip varnish is 95% plus with handling dings. This is an ANTIQUE and can be shipped directly to you. no guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage. If any firearms are to be used for shooting purposes, a qualified gunsmith should inspect them first. Adult signature required.
