This is a very nice custom 338 Winchester Magnum caliber Custom with a georgeous stock,The rifle is built on a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 action. Maufactured date looks like 1949. It has a great walnut stock with lots of figure. with obvious upgraded features. The scope iand mounts are included. The scope is a Weaver K-3, fixed 3 power with a post and cross hair reticle. This is a great reticle, especially for this caliber. It is quick to use and visable in low light /dark background situations.The custom part is the stainless steel barrel which was installee some time later as I think 338 came out in the 50"s . The barrel is 24" long stainless steel the L.O.P. is 13 7/8. This is a quality rifle using quality components. This is out of my personal collection, and I have never fired it always in safe.
All Firearms must be shipped to an FFL holder. I will ship long guns via ground and priority mail for $50 additional 48 lower states. Alaska , Hawaii and remote areas additional .If you would like to have your purchase shipped via any other means, you will bear the additional cost.
