This is a super nice #1 Delux with great dimensions. The gun is in excellent condition and shows very little if any use and has only a couple of very small handling marks on the stock. Priced at approximately half what a new #1 Delux would cost this represents a great value.
Barrels are 29.5" choked .012 (IC) and .018 (M) and the LOP is 14 7/8" over a checkered butt. The floral engraving is absolutely stunning and the fences and extended tang are a great complement to the sidelocks. There are cocking indicators. A concave rib sets off the barrels.
This is a top of the line AyA gun. There is a silver estucheon in the stock that has been engraved with a previous owner's initials.
This firearm is from the Oliver-Bruce collection. The principal owned a private equity investment firm in Switzerland which allowed him to travel extensively in the UK and Europe. His passion was finding and researching high quality/investment grade British and European double shotguns of the highest quality. His collection is extensive and includes a number of unique firearms like this one. The owner also collects fine watches and would consider a trade.
