Description:
Offered is an excellent Colt Single Action first generation Revolver in 44 CF. The gun has a 7 1/2 " barrel. All numbers match on this gun and the serial number # 94129 indicates a manufacturing date of 1883. The left side of the barrel is etched "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" and the gun as a three line patent.
A full restoration has been done by well known engraver D. W. Harris. The gun is fully engraved and finished in Nickel. The engraving and refinish were very likely done together. The end result is a beautiful gun that holds 99% of the refinished nickel that is complimented by what appear to be genuine ivory grips.
This is an absolutely beautiful example of the early Colt revolvers that would make a real addition to any collection.
