Description:
This is an early gun with lots of features as well as condition. Features include a very scarce 26 inch Extra light rapid taper barrel chambered in 30 WCF with a full length mag tube. Real good bore. Deluxe checkered wood with a pistol grip and shotgun butt and sling swivels. Tang sight with sporting rear and dovetail front. Thinning original barrel and mag blue. Receiver retains strong original blue in protected areas with the balance blending gray and silver on the high points. Traces of case colors on hammer and lever. Crisp action. Steel butt plate. Deluxe wood has oil finish and looks good with fairly sharp checkering. Research form verifies all features and the antique serial number.
