Mauser G33/40, Mountain Carbine (coded dot 1941) Cal. 8mm, Ser. 80XX b.
Super scarce and super nice. You could easily say there is about 93-95% of the original blue still remaining. Some of the loss is due to sharp edge silvering, some slight toning of the bolt and just some scattered pin pricks.
There are no patches of rust, rub marks or scratches. All parts match including the proper hollowed out bolt handle which is stamped Eagle/Swastika.
The receiver is stamped Eagle/63 Eagle/WaA??, Eagle/63. The laminated wood stock is in super condition with only two surface scratches on the right side. The upper handguard does have two noticeable field repairs. They are rather nicely done and does add a bit historic action to the weapon.
The bolt face, feed ramps and bolt rail exhibit minimal use. The bore is very nice, bright with well-defined rifling and some light frosting. The gun comes with an original sling, cleaning rod and the correct sight hood.
