Smith & Wesson Model 34-1.
A favorite customer of ours has brought this little Smith in and asked us to find it a good home. This Smith & Wesson Model 34-1 22LR revolver bears serial # 94971. This is a fairly early M-34-1 and retains the better features such as pinned barrel, pinned front sight, recessed cylinder and the ever desirable diamond grips. The wood grips are excellent with no chipped or broken checkering and virtually no handling marks. He states his father and he enjoyed shooting this little guy very much and they took great care of it. The barrel is 4 inches long and the revolver retains 96% or better of its factory finish, actually if one discounts the extractor rod it’s more like 98.5%. There is some degradation of bluing on the back strap. The trigger and hammer retain great case colors from the factory hardening process. Revolver indexes and times perfectly no issues still solid lock up.
