1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN DESIRABLE .38-40 CALIBER, MADE 1907, this is another example that came out of Arizona and has seen typical hard western use, overall metal is a dark gray/brown with good markings overall, forend shows honest saddle wear on the bottom ahead of the receiver and overall wear but is sound, butt stock appears dry and has obviously been used and carried hard in a saddle scabbard, tight action, fine bore with normal light roughness mainly toward the middle of the barrel, original and correct carbine rear sight with slide intact, lots of stories in this one!
