This example was manufactured in 1985 and it is number 72 of 100. The left side of the receiver shows three quail on a tree limb and the right side shows five quail in flight. There is floral scroll engraving on the bottom and sides of the receiver along with flourishes on the forearm hardware, trigger guard and break lever. The barrel has a single steel bead sight, is choked improved cylinder/modified and has 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors.
ConditionExcellent, 99% of the original blue finish remains. The coin finished components remain mostly bright with only a few scattered handling marks and some discoloration. The forearm release lever appears to have been replaced at some point. Mechanically excellent, action is crisp and tight, bores are shiney.
Mounted on a nicely figured checkered English walnut Schnabel forearm and straight grip stock with black plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. The wood is quite lovely showing some scattered dings, scratches and forearm wear.
With a brown leatherette case.The case is very good.
