Description:
This black powder framed Colt shipped on November 27, 1894 to E.C. Meacham Arms Company, configured as shown with a 4 3/4" barrel,.44/40 blue, and Rubber stocks. The barrel has the correct 2 line Hartford address, and the roll die "Frontier Six Shooter" on the left side of the barrel. Patent marks, Rampant Colt and all Serial numbers correct and matching. The revolver retains 20% of the original blue finish, with the balance a pleasing silver/gray patina. Stocks are fine with only very minor wear. Mechanically excellent. Colt Factory Archive letter included. This is a good, solid "right as rain" old black powder frame Colt that will make a nice addition to a collection.
