For sale, a very nice 12 gauge Winchester Model 21 manufactured sometime between the very late 1940's to mid 1950's. This vintage Winchester Model 21 has 30 inch barrels, 2 3/4 inch chambers, a single selectable trigger, beavertail forearm, and automatic ejectors. As you can see in the pictures the barrels were originally choked modified and full, but at some point in the last 60 years they were opened up to improved cylinder (.010") and modified (.020"). The original Winchester factory blue finish is in very good condition, with some "flaking" at the balance point under the receiver and some various small areas where there has previously been some surface rust. The bores are excellent in this shotgun. They are bright and free from pits and bulges. The stock set is in very good condition as well and gives the gun a length of pull of 15 1/4 inches with the black pad and spacers. The length of pull over just the wood butt stock is 13 1/2 inches. If you removed the spacers and just used the pad, the LOP would be 14 1/2 inches. Winchester Model 21's are one of America's favorite shotguns. They have a reputation of extreme reliability and durability, and they have been excellent investments for a long time. If you are looking for a classic double for hunting or sporting clays, or if you just want an example for your collection of perhaps the finest American made double barrel shotgun, do not pass this up!
