Description:
Springfield Armory. M1 Garand. Cal. 30-06. 24" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain 95% gray-green parkerized finish with light wear along the edges and the buttplate toning to pewter. The walnut stock and handguards rate very good plus, the stock having light handling marks from years of use with a strong "S.A./N.F.R." inspectors cartouche next to crossed cannons ordnance escutcheon on the left side of the stock and a horizontal circle "P" firing proof on the pistol grip. The handguards show old light cleaning with only a couple of handling marks. > M1 rifle . Serial # 3811015
