Description:
Colt 1851 Navy USG Second Generation Revolver manufactured by Colt in 1971.  This was one of 4,750 units made to honor Ulysses S. Grant.  The gun comes in a custom walnut box complete with a Colt bullet mold, powder flask marked James Dixon & Sons Sheffild, a small packet of lead bullets and a powder funnel.  All items are in like new condition.
The original production run of these pistols were blued with color case hardened hammer, trigger and loading mechanism.  This gun has been customized with full engraving and a nickel finish to the barrel and grip.  The grips are synthetic ivory.
There are no marks, scrapes or dents on the gun with only a very small area of worn plating on the grip back strap.
This is an unusual and very attractive item and would make a nice addition to any collecton or if desired a nice shooter.
