Description:
*** SOLD *** It is pretty unusual to find a 28 gauge boxlock from a great Spanish maker with 28” barrels, auto ejectors and a long stock. This nice little AyA bird gun was made in 1999 and has a coin finished receiver and a nicely figured straight grip stock and forearm. *** The boxlock ejector action has light border style engraving, double triggers and auto ejectors. It is a wand at 5lb 9oz. *** The 28” barrels are chambered for 2-3/4" shotshells and topped by a raised solid concave game style rib. The right barrel is bored 0.546 and has a constriction of 0.005 for Improved Cylinder choke. The left barrel has a constriction of 0.546 with a constriction of 0.016 for Modified choke. There is a fair amount of bluing wear on the base plate of the frame, forearm iron, and left barrel near the breech. There are also a few small scratches on the right barrel. *** The stock and forearm are made of nicely figured walnut. The checkering is crisp. There are a few handling marks from normal usage. The stock dimensions are 15” to a checkered butt by 1-1/4” by 2”. Slightly Cast ON for the left handed shooter. Could easily be bent to fit a right hand shot. *** This little AyA 28 gauge would be a great gun to take into the grouse and woodcock coverts or for the quail hunter. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and related charges. I give a three-day non-firing inspection and will only accept returns if gun is not as described.
