19th Century POCKET CARRY for the Armed Citizen
Here we present an antique Whitney 22 Rimfire Short Revolver, made circa the 1870s. This small revolver is a 7-shot .22 rimfire short. It was specifically designed to be a pocket gun, being very small and light. For those not wanting or needing a full-sized gun or for those who wanted a backup this revolver was the ideal self-defense firearm for the turbulent 19th century.
This specimen is in good condition. Markings are clear and legible. The grips and bore are in good condition. The hammer and trigger function, but the cylinder does not turn when the hammer is cocked.
