Unbelievable. Super condition. Very rare maker "Enfield" and a super low serial number.
Over 200,000 of these pistol were made by Webley. But The government arsenal did indeed produce about 4000 between 1921 and 1926, making the Enfield marked guns very rare..
Adding to all of the above, the cylinder has not been cut. The same very low 3 digit serial number is stamped on the frame, cylinder and barrel group. The condition is super.
It retains about 94-95% of the original factory "War Finish". Outstanding for a 90 year old military revolver. The only loss is from sharp edge silvering, some small nicks and dings, and few very isolated pin pricks. There are the usual ton of British proof marks and Broad Arrow military acceptance marks. So I won't bore the reader with listing them, but be assured the gun is guaranteed 100% correct in every way.
It locks up tight and indexes properly. The grips show very little use and are just perfect. No chips, splits or flattened points. The bottom edges are marked with an "M", which is their mark for medium size. The recoil shield, chambers and the force cone show very little use.
The bore is super bright with razor sharp rifling. Possibly a very slight hint of frost. The gun comes with a very scarce MK VI leather holster that is in super condition. Just a scuff or two to mar its original looks. The back of the holster is stamped Crown/VR. The pair make an awesom rig....REDUCED***$2295***REDUCED
