Description:
This is a DWM 1918 Artillery Luger in 9mm Para. cal. dater 1918. The gun is marked as s/n 979on the frame and bottom of the barrel. The shortened serial numver 79 is marked on the gun in 5 additional places. The gun is fitted with the long range tangent sight also marked 79. The only item not so marked is the wooden based magazine that is not numbered.
The gun fires and flunctions flawlessly and the wooden grips are in very good condition with only slight wear just above the magazine at the bottom of the grips.
The original finish shows only very minor wear on several edges lines but has light corrosion over much of the barrel and 10-15% of the receiver and grip. Overall this is a very nice Luger to add to any collection or enjoy as a shooter.
