Description:
Marlin XXX Standard 1872, 30 caliber Rimfire, Pocket Revolver. On top of barrel rib is stamped XXX Standard 1872. On the side of the barrel is stamped J.M. Marlin New Haven, CT USA Pat. July 1, 1873. All metal surfaces are nickeled, no deep rust. Barrel shows rifling but it is dark. Frame is nickel plated brass with what I would guess 80% to 90 % of the nickeling still on it. It has Ivory grips with nice color but does have some cracks . Gun seems to operates and function properly, locks up good. The barrel lock has a little play in it but over all a good solid old gun.
