Description:
Stevens Diamond Number 43 pistol, second issue. Total made was about 70,000 and made from 1896 to 1916. The numbers started at about 26,000. This one is serial numbered 50xxx so it would be in the middle of the production run. Iron frame with nickel finish that is missing in parts of the handle. The bore has strong rifling with some minor pitting. The gun locks tight and functions properly. It has a nice globe frony sight and adjustable rear sight. Part round and part octagon barrel. Walnut grips and flat butt. This is a C&R firearm and no paperwork is required.
