Description:
The 1920 Commercial Carbine was made for general commercial sale both domestically in Germany and abroad. DWM toggle inscription with new version toggle knobs (flat and checkered). This pistol is chambered in 7.65mm (30 luger) and fitted with a 11 3/4" barrel with checkered walnut forearm. Adjustable four-postion rear sight with ramp-style front sight and bead. Pistol includes checkered walnut carbine stock with firm lockup to pistol lug. Correct magazine with wood base. Serial number stamped on barrel #53. Wood forend has matching number inscribed inside. Rear toggle, takedown lever, side plate and trigger are marked #18. Total number of these produced is unknown and this model is identified as very rare in text. Finished in rust blue this firearm is in impeccable condition with just the slightest of wear noted at the barrel crown. Forend, grips and the carbine stock are in excellent condition.
