For sale is a very fine Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in the desirable 257 Roberts. Serial No. 129741 means this rifle was made in 1949 making this 68 year old a "back of the vault" keeper. I rate the bluing an overall 92% and the wood, because of dings from usage or vault rash (with TLC along the way) at about 90-92%. Factory pad. A superb Unertl "Hawk" 4X scope period scope mounts. Bright, sharp, minty bore. This gun is ready for the serious Super Grade collector. I offer a three-day "no shoot" inspection.
