Description:
One of 100 made. The Abercrombie & Fitch Luger is based on a DWM Swiss Luger that was fitted with a Swiss made replacement barrel in preparation for export. DWM inscribed on toggle. Cross in sunburst inscribed on chamber. Barrel stamped "Abercrombie & Fitch New York" "Made in Switzerland". New version toggle knobs (flat/checkered), grip safety and thumb safety with correct polished finish to lower position. This pistol is chambered in 7.65mm (30 Luger) and fitted with a 4.75" barrel. Magazine has bakelite base and is stamped "Made in Switzerland". Checkered walnut grips and rust blue finish. Wear to finish noted along hard edges of receiver, side plate, front and rear strap. Clean bore with rifling. Original and unrefinished. Rear toggle, side place, takedown lever and trigger have matching numbers.
