This is a very nice Featherweight. Chambered in the desirable 270
caliber this rifle hasseen very little use. This configuration was only offered from 1955-1959 and this is
a first year, 1955, rifle. Wood is near perfect with only a very minor mark visible in the photo
of the right stock near the aluminum butt. Only loss of blue would be the minor wear on the
floor plate.
Excellent example of the Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 270 caliber!
