Krieghoff K80 Gold Target #20108 with number matching 28" Bohler-Laufstahl ported barrel and Kolar Max subgauge tubes in a Nasco case. For anyone wishing to know exactly what a "Gold Target" grade is, it is nearly exactly the same as today's "Monarch" grade - except the Gold Target came with the addition of a gold "Broken Target" top latch and the Monarch does not. The Monarch is a $22,395 upgrade over a Standard grade K80 without the Broken Target top latch. The price of a Monarch receiver and iron (no wood; no barrels; no gold Broken Target top latch) is $27,500 today.
Barrels are engraved at the breech end and measure .732" bore. This pretty gun has a nice condition receiver and fore end iron, the only wear to the blue being on the opening lever and a hint of thinning at the very back of the bottom tang behind the trigger guard. The exhibition grade #5 wood has a few small dings. The barrels have Ballistic thin walls and show moderate wear to the bluing. This is a beautiful gun with rich, full hand engraved coverage and Gold Broken Target top latch. It is an extremely high grade K80.
