A nice factory wood cased pair of derringers in .22 caliber short.." They don't come any nicer. The spur triggers, hammers and screws are all blued. The rest of the metal including the barrels, actions and grip straps are all gold plated. The Butler name is prominitely shown on the barrel tops. They are single shot and the barrels are round and 2 & 1/2" long. They were made around 1963 when Butler stopped making the same basic pistols for Colt. These are replicas of the Colt Derringer #4. The red lining in the case is also in as new condition and contains the banner name" House of Butler". There is a blade type front sight. The barrel is a side pivoting Thuer action.
