Colt Light Rifle 7mm Remington Magnum
As new in box please find this Colt Light Rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum. The rifle bears serial # LR004553. The factory furnished alloy scope bases sets by Talley and the buyer will receive these and all other factory supplied papers. Previous did owner install the Warne Weaver style bases because he had plans to use the scope from another one of his Colt Light rifles on this one and wanted the quick detachment feature. He just never got around to doing so. Only 4000 rifles were made in the US. The entire production line was supervised by Mel Forbes while at SCAO Defense after the two companies merged to produce these rifles based on Mr. Forbes individually built light rifles. We will include the articles of the rifle from the 2000 edition of The Complete Rifleman by Jon Sundra as well as the July 1999 article in Guns and Ammo. These rifles are very accurate and the light weight makes them a dream to carry afield especially in the high country.
Shipping will be $24.00 USPS Priority Mail if east of the Mississippi River, West will be $28.00, West Coast states $32.00. Alaska and Hawaii will need a quote.
