Up for sale today is a BM-59 Paratrooper serial no. 1244048 chambered in caliber .308 Winchester. This outstanding, as-new-in-box BM-59 was built on a US Winchester M1 Garand receiver by James River Armory using an Italian parts kit. The rifle comes with an integral bipod, folding paratrooper stock, pistol grip,, a rifle grenade sight, and a muzzle brake with bayonet lug, as well as one 20 round detachable box magazine. This is an even rarer, harder to find variant of the BM-59. An awesome, functional example of a exceptionally rare combat rifle of yesteryear, and a great addition to any collection.
